Florette were recommended to me. I had already heard of them and my family had used them in the past before so I had no concerns contacting them first but their customer service (on this occasion) was terrible.Firstly I'd like to admit that I had made a mistake in the first instance and was calling up with a somewhat last minute need for a buttonhole (for a family wedding up North the next day). I phoned the store to enquire on their opening hours and if and when they could have my order ready. They said there would be no problem and it was agreed that I could come and pick the buttonhole up about 16:30 after my work as they mentioned they close at 17:00 on Fridays. I'm not local so I drove and parked in the nearby multi-story rather than search around for spaces (to make sure I'd be on time) and walked round only to find the shop fully closed and locked up at 16:20. I tried phoning their telephone number a couple of times but could only get through to an answer phone. I was hoping to speak to somebody who might be able to tell me if my order had actually been done and if I'd be able to swing by the shop when they opened on the Saturday before making the journey. I left a message asking to be contacted asap but I never did get a call back, even on Saturday.I thought then that I had no time to find anywhere else before the next day and would have to do without but luckily I was able to find and get to another nearby florist just before THEY closed who made me up a beautiful buttonhole there and then at 16:55 without any bother.As I said, they were recommended to me and I have no doubt that when it comes to planned out events and properly booked orders etc. their service is probably great. I understand that this was only a small order not all that important in the grand scheme and not worth much money to them but if they couldn't help me, they shouldn't have promised to do so. The fact that I travelled to them and paid for parking etc. to find they had closed early (possibly by coincidence - on a nice day) was extremely frustrating and disappointing. For this reason I will not be using them again and by extension neither will my family.
