Went for lunch with a friend I've not seen in a long time so suggested the watermill for a coffee and a bite. Was sorely disappointed with the food and the sandwich I ordered was supposed to have onion and it came without so I asked for it to be told there was non so I asked for a bit of tomato and they put one slice of tomato on it with no butter it was dry and not very pleasant. 8 had to ask for my coffee twice the lady that served us who I think was the owner disappeared and the guy at the bar who was lovely and very helpful apologised and took the price of the sandwiche off bill. To think I was considering this place to hold my wedding reception as well, it's also dated looking since I was last in. Very disappointed 3 stars due to the kindness of the guy serving at the bar
Was here for my boyfriend's gran funeral sadly. The food and drinks were absolutely appropriate for the occasion. No issues at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the receptionist who was on duty the evening we arrived. Rooms had everything we needed, thanks for a good value visit.
The only place I will stay when I'm home in Paisley. The staff are always polite, courteous to the customer, always knowing what to do. It is always clean, friendly, nothing is too much. Food from Breakfast to Dinner and late night snacks are second to none
Nice hotel for the price. Very friendly staff and a lovely Scottish breakfast that was piping hot and freshly prepared. Room was a bit dated but comfortable. Only downside was it took ages for hot water to come through for the shower but other than that nice stay and a central location.
