We have nothing but good things to say about our tour with Natalie! She was so engaging, and pointed out all the sites of interest to us in a way that made it fun to learn about them. We felt like we were in good hands and were guided in a way that was informative and not pushy. The highlight of our tour was definitely Urquhart castle. We loved exploring the castle ruins and learning about the history of the site. It was also a good stop for us to buy some souvenirs to take home. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of exploring Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands, and would not hesitate to book with them again in the future when we return to Scotland for another visit!
Outlander Inspired Day Tour - I found this tour by doing a search for day tours from Glasgow. We were not too familiar with the Outlander show but chose the tour because the itinerary looked interesting and the price was very reasonable. It was November so there were only three of us on the tour and the tour leader, John, told us upfront that he could be very flexible on how long we stayed at each place which was great. He was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and about Scottish history and he had a really nice way about him which all contributed to a very good day. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Went on the cruise and castle loch Ness tour. Our tour guide was Nathalie or the mad cow as she likes to call herself. It was a fun tour and we actually got to see Nessy swimming around and enjoying herself! The boat cruise for 30 minutes was not such a good experience though since they let way to many people on and also very rude fellow passengers on the boat ride but that is not the tours fault. We heard from the people that did the 1 hour boat ride that they did not experience that problem and it was very peaceful on their cruise.
Stirling Castle & Loch Lomond National ParkLet me start by saying Stewart was the best tour guide. He was great! His stories were informative, funny and very enjoyable. The meeting / pickup point was perfect. The bus had proper markings so it was very easy to find among the other buses. Checking in with the driver (Stewart) was exceptional. Stewart was friendly. We felt safe at all time with his driving. Stewart was continually pointing out land marks and explaining its background and history throughout the tour. Very clear directions when we arrived at tour destination points as to what time to return to the bus. Stewart was very engaged in the group. Walking us in to areas for sightseeing, basically showing and telling us areas we should see at those destination points. We had a very enjoyable day on our tour. I would highly recommend this tour/company to anyone.
We took the 3-day Isle of Skye tour from Edinburgh. That was the first time I book a tour during my travel. At first i was a little bit reluctant, but it definitely exceeded my expectations! We had three AMAZING days in Scotland and we loved it ! And those were the most memorable days of our stay in the United Kingdom.Jeff our guide was very friendly and funny which made our trip even more enjoyable. The trip was so organized, and everyone was so informative.I really do recommend this tour to anyone who will be visiting Scotland!!
