Staff were friendly and helpful, gave very clear directions on what they required on return and any terms of the rental. The van was clean and of perfect size too.
Really good service from Marion and Kieran who assisted my booking. Kieran made, for me, the daunting task of booking a rental car from the other side of the world (Australia) a painless experience. Marion provided wonderful assistance to me when I went to pick up and return the rental car. Thanks team. I'll definitely use you guys again when I'm next in town.
Service was good but a bit slow. I wasn't aware until I returned car that there was a cost for transfer back to airport. This should have been made clear at booking and wasn't even mentioned when lifting car. Ended up getting taxi as cheaper and quicker. After completing this Arnold Clark asked me to complete a customer service, but they didn't bother to respond to me on the issues raised. They need to up their customer service big time.
Really good experience with this rental company. First of all we got a great rate online. Then they picked us up from the hotel instead of the airport which was really nice. At the checkin there were enough employees to avoid waiting lines. We booked a category 2 car and received a fantastic Mini as car for the next six days. Guess this was an upgrade :). We decided to reduce our risk to 0 for 70 pounds extra. Luckily we did this since we damaged one of the rims.Checking out was also smooth and the staff was fine with the damage. The understand the small roads with big lorries in Scotland. I would recommend reducing your risk to 0 anytime if you are not used to driving on the left side of the road.
Staff was easy to work with. The car was nearly brand new. BMW, very nice. I paid for the excess ahead of time, and with one of the wheels getting scratched it wasn't a problem at all. We picked up a nail in our tire on the Isle of Skye, and trying to get a new tire on the car was a bit of a bear. It's a run flat tire and AC wouldn't replace it with a normal tire at first, but there were no run flat tires available anywhere. After some back and forth they agreed to the regular tire and we continued our vacation. In the end it wasn't a big deal. I would rent from them again for sure. Overall a good experience. Thanks.
