Walk away! We saved our selves God only knows how much money by seeing through their shady initiatives. We reserved a car with them through Expedia for an incredible rate of only $108 for a week with unlimited miles, however once we got there to actually pick up the car everything changed. Suddenly there was no more unlimited miles, a $1200 deposit would be needed unless we paid for full coverage at $68 a day, and they were very specific about how we would be charged for damages when we returned the car. Do not let yourself get hustled by this con of a company.
Recently picked up a car for 2 weeks from Green Motion at Glasgow Airport. Quick pick up from the shuttle bus to the branch. Hyder dealt with us from start to finish and one of the easiest collections we have had in a long time. Top bloke and an asset for the company. He even offered us other cars/upgrades but we were happy with the model we booked. Look forward to doing business with them again. Hopefully Green Motion can hang on to this guy.
Fast, polite and extremely helpful. I was met at the counter by Hyde, and from the first minute he was extremely courteous. Do not rent. Thieves. My friends and I rented a vehicle from Green Motion over New Years and Ive not had a worse customer experience in years. 1) more than 5 people juggled the initial transaction, few knowing how to process the prepaid booking. Took 45min, with little line. 2) The rep went painfully over the car looking for nicks and scratches so that any violation would later forfeit an enormous cash deposit. 3) the vehicle was handed over with the tank empty. Which became an issue when we returned it 3/4 full and were told to contact customer service via email for a refund. Which was a lie, since customer service promptly informed us they would not pay. 4) the returns process was almost as painful as check in, as two staff fumbled over transactions, and the return ride to the airport was frankly dangerous. Keep yourselves, your family, and your rental $$ away from Green Motion. Pathetic on every single level.
Just dropped the 3008 (free upgrade from the 2008) off.It has been a hassle free experience from start to finish.Friendly staff, clear requirements made sure my pickup was swift (no massive queues) from the Airport.Return of the vehicle was even quicker. No hidden issues or demands for cash.Quick lift back to the terminal and I'm on my way.Would happily use again.
