Absolutely terrible service riddled with hidden costs. Rude. unhelpful. welcoming. Untrustworthy. Unprofessional.Would never recommend these hiring from these people, unless you want to spend an extortionate amount of money. Would have given no stars if that was an option.Do not use this company.
Hired a car when on holiday for a few days, they did ask if i wanted insurance but i was covered. My plans got delayed which meant my car was late back. I rang the office and the guys were great and did not charge me. Great customer service. I will hire again on my next visit in a couple of weeks
You want to rent a car. You book and pay it two weeks before the trip. They say a price (180). When you arrive, they say, it's without insurance, okay, I pay (30). Then they say you have to pay 2500 deposit for car damages, or when you want to pay as deposit just 500, you have to pay for it (36). Okay, I pay. They give you the car damaged (documented), and when you bring the car back with a new scratch (light, can be simple polished), they say, this damaged costs 1.600 (!), but you're very lucky, because it's maximum 500, and you know, that it will be not repaired, you received it damaged. Over the lost deposit you pay 75 for damage administration. Anyone a three-days car rent for 831? Thank you, nicely done.
I live near by and I hired a car with Easirent. The prices were great and they seemed honest and professional with me. I got my own excess issuance separately and they put a 1500 hold on my Creditcard. They didnt find any new damage to the car so theyll take the hold off. The only issue with the service is that the computer slowed down the process for car pickup.
Efficient and pleasant. To be honest we were apprehensive after reading previous reviews but our experience with Easirent Glasgow Airport was great. We were collected from the airport car park by the shuttle driver, Ronnie, within minutes of our call and had a lovely chat on the way to the depot. George served us at the desk and was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He explained everything clearly and carefully and there were no surprises as long as you read the online terms ahead of time. PLEASE REMEMBER to take a credit card in the main drivers name as any other options, including debit card, credit card in secondary drivers name or unnamed travel credit card are NOT acceptable and you will need to select the more expensive insurance option to complete your rental. The car was in great condition and George ensured we were familiar with all the features before we left and gave us all the emergency details as well in case of accident or breakdown. Returning the car was easy and Brian was polite and lovely as he took us straight back to the airport, again, within minutes of us taking the car back.We would definitely use Easirent at Glasgow Airport again. Thanks for looking after us!
